A large portion of the withinUs Team have been working from home for almost 7 weeks. We have found that setting up a routine is helpful to balance home/work life.  Even though we are self isolating, we continued to make our favorite withinUs beverages and wanted to share them with you.

Team favorite recipes are below. 

TAMI’S COLLAGEN-POWERED LEMON WATER:

Before making her TruOrganic Matcha (with oat milk and TruOrganic MCT oil powder), Tami starts her day with the juice of half a lemon in a large glass of water. It is refreshing and hydrating and hosts many health benefits.

Ingredients: 

Directions: 

  1. Add withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen into your mug and add hot water. Stir until clear and dissolved
  2. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon 
  3. Top with cold or room temperature water, stir, and enjoy

    TRACY’S NIGHT-TIME TEA:

    Tracy has been enjoying a great night sleep since she starting taking this product every night. It is the perfect drink to sip on before bed (or when you want to feel calm and relaxed).  withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen + Magnesium in your herbal tea (or plain hot water) will promote relaxation and a restful sleep.



    Ingredients: 

    Directions: 

    1. Steep a cup of your tea of choice
    2. Add 1 scoop of withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen + Magnesium
    3. Stir until dissolved and enjoy.

    SHAYLA’S VANILLA MATCHA MISTO:

    Shayla enjoys a modern twist on a traditional beverage. It is delicious and very nutritious.  High in antioxidants, healthy fats and all the benefits of TruMarine Collagen - this is a triple threat misto!  With a hint of sweetness, it can be made in 3 easy steps.

    Ingredients: 

    Directions: 

      1. Heat up milk of choice 
      2. Add Matcha Misto into warm milk and stir until dissolved. (pro tip: we like to use our hand-held frother.)
      3. Add in a splash of vanilla extract to taste

    CHIARA’S REHYDRATE REFRESHER TWIST:

    Chiara likes to drink ReHydrate during the day to keep dehydration headaches at bay. She also finds this drink refreshing and functional post-workout to replenish electrolytes and offer total hydration.

    Ingredients: 

    Directions: 

    1. Add Tropical ReHydrate and Lemon ReHydrate to a water bottle or shaker bottle
    2. Top with water and shake until smooth
    3. Pour into a tall glass and top with ice
    4. Optional: Squeeze in a slice of lemon

      ASHLEY’S COLLAGEN-POWERED MATCHA LATTE:

      This is Ashley's drink of choice every morning. She enjoys the quality of the matcha and it gives her an energy boost without the jitters.  This matcha latte is easy to make PLUS it includes your daily serving of TruMarine™ Collagen.

      Ingredients:

      1. Heat milk of choice 
      2. Add milk and matcha and froth until smooth (we use our hand-held frother for this)
      3. Add in a scoop of TruMarine™ Collagen and stir until dissolved

      EMILY’S PEPPERMINT HOT CACAO:

      Move over hot chocolate, this is Emily's new favourite drink. Emily's favourite holiday is Christmas but no matter what the season, this hug in a mug is perfectly delicious.

      1. Heat up milk of choice
      2. Add milk and Cacao Misto into a mug and stir/blend until smooth (we like to use our hand-held frother
      3. Add peppermint extract (to taste)

        JENNA’S COLLAGEN-POWERED EARL GREY TEA LATTE :

        Jenna is a true tea lover. If she isn't whisking up a cup of TruOrganic Matcha (she knows how to whisk matcha better than anyone we know), this is her go-to tea latte. Similar to a London Fog but contains no added sugar, and is healthy and delicious.  


        Ingredients: 

        Directions: 

        1. Steep tea in boiled water for 3-5 minutes until dark and rich in colour 
        2. Steam coconut milk (or heat in microwave for 30 seconds) 
        3. Mix TruMarine™ Collagen into steamed milk until completely dissolved
        4. Add milk/collagen mixture to tea
        5. Stir and enjoy

        JULIA’S BRAIN-BOOSTING ICED MATCHA:

        Julia LOVES this refreshing iced beverage which contains matcha for a jitter-free energy boost, MCTs for a brain boost, and TruMarine™ Collagen for healthy hair, skin, nails, and joints. The trifecta.

          EMMA’S MORNING OATMEAL:

          Although not a beverage, Emma's oatmeal recipe is a great way to start your morning. Her go-to recipe is one the team has made and enjoyed.  


          Ingredients: 

          • ⅓ cup cup quick oats
          • ⅔ cup of water 
          • 1 scoop withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen 
          • 1 tbsp sliced roasted almonds
          • 1 tbsp sultanas (or raisin of choice) 
          • Pinch of cinnamon 
          • Optional: Fruit of choice (we like blueberries and raspberries)

          Directions: 

          1. Cook oatmeal with water in microwave for 1.5 minutes 
          2. Stir in TruMarine™ Collagen 
          3. Top with almonds, raisins, and fruit
          4. Sprinkle cinnamon and enjoy

          BECCA’S MORNING MOCHA COFFEE:

          Becca loves her cup of coffee in the morning and for all of the java lovers, the addition of Cacao Misto and TruOrganic MCT is next level. It is is sure to be your new favourite way to drink your cup of joe.

            Nicole's quick and simple trick for a EXTRA creamy Matcha Misto. This is a tried and Tru team favourite.

            Tagnéa is a loyal and dedicated  fan of our Plant Protein Powder. She has experimented with several recipes but this one is one of her all-time favourite.  This healthy smoothie is guaranteed to satisfy your chocolate craving.

            Zach's twist on Golden Mylk.  This delicious latte offers a hint of spice and delicious creaminess with the addition of Coconut Creamer.

            3. Stir until dissolved. We like to use a handheld frother for extra creaminess
