The TruMarine Team recently interviewed TruAmbassador, Lilla Nash, and asked her a few questions about what her typical day looks like, how her and former NBA star Steve Nash balance their professional and personal lives, and (of course) why she incorporates withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen into her daily routine.
Lilla- a California native- received a scholarship from Pepperdine University, where she played indoor and outdoor beach Volleyball. In 2008, she played on the US Women's Junior National team, which won the gold medal at the NORCECA Women's Junior Continental Championship. She went on to play professionally in Puerto Rico for Valencianas de Juncos. Lilla now resides in Manhattan Beach, CA where she plays beach volleyball in the AVP .
I normally wake up between 6 and 7 am. Then I make the kids breakfast and eat with them. My TruMarine™ Collagen is incorporated into my breakfast routine - Steve usually makes my amino acid/TruMarine™ Collagen drink for me :)
After breakfast I have volleyball practice for 2-3 hours, and I usually workout after that. In the afternoon I pick up the kids from school, and take them to their after school activities. Then dinner! I am always sending emails throughout the day, especially with all the wedding planning going on!
I was looking for a product that would help replenish my collagen, and something that would benefit my hair and nail growth that didn't taste bad. I discovered withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen and found that it was the perfect product because it's easy to incorporate into my daily routine and doesn't taste like anything! I add it into my amino acids drink every morning and I don’t even notice it. Yum!
I do a lot of training, which means there is a lot of wear and tear that happens to my muscles and joints. I believe it is important to restore and replenish my body with the nutrients it needs, and since starting withinUs TruMarine™ Collagen I haven’t had any joint pain!
Steve also takes this product and has noticed similar benefits, especially with his workout recovery and decreased joint pain.
A good night’s sleep is always the best for me- lack of sleep is my biggest enemy! With some nice beauty sleep I feel energized and ready to play.
Steve loves to workout and is always pushing and helping me find energy, so it's nice that we can workout together. The kids love going to the beach so it's a plus that I play beach volleyball and the whole family can spend time together.
I love sweets! I would have to say dark chocolate with sea salt- so yummy.
Also... I love cheese!
I've been very stressed and have had some lack of sleep, so if I could give any advice to fellow brides-to-be, it would be to sleep lots and eat well!
We are sure you will be glowing on your wedding day! Congratulations to the happy couple.
