Yes, we use a small amount of stevia in our ReHydrate products. Stevia is a natural sugar substitute extracted from the leaves of the plant species Stevia rebaudiana. We use an organic extract source for our product to balance the flavour profile.

Glucose is the main fuel source for the body and needs to be replenished after dehydration in order to help the body restore balance and recover. The 1g of organic cane sugar per serving included in ReHydrate + TruMarine® Collagen serves a functional role enabling the electrolytes to be absorbed into your body quickly and efficiently.

Drinking water alone when you are already dehydrated will actually cause a further dilution of electrolytes in your body, and potentially a complete depletion of electrolytes.

Consuming electrolytes prevents dehydration, not only because of the water it provides but also because the electrolytes stimulate your body to hold onto water. When you are exercising or outside on a hot day, getting enough fluid is vital for keeping your body temperature down, and if you are an athlete, being hydrated is essential for optimal performance.

withinUs ReHydrate + Collagen has been formulated with organic, non-gmo ingredients and the best absorbed electrolyte minerals sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and chloride. Our current recommended daily serving is based on adult consumption (up to 4x per day). The amount of sugar is far less than conventional sports/electrolyte drinks on the market. Children are not advised to consume the product in the same quantities as adults but can absolutely find benefit in our ReHydrate + Collagen. 1 scoop of ReHydrate should suffice, however, please consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if there are any medical concerns.
