YOUR TOP 5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ~ WITHINUS TEAM

We have received many questions regarding the benefits, difference and quality of our Premium-Select Grade, withinUs™ TruMarine® Collagen and questions about the best way(s) to incorporate our other products. We decided to compile a list of the 5 most frequently asked questions from our customers.

1. Where is withinUs™ TruMarine® Collagen sourced from?

Our 100% ultra-pure collagen (premium select grade TruMarine® Collagen) is sourced from ethically and sustainably-caught wild fish scales (never skin) in the deep, pristine waters of the South Pacific Ocean - north of Australia and approximately 5,000 km from the coast of Japan. The ocean currents of the Southern Hemisphere are separated by the Equatorial Counter Current and are completely different from those of the North Pacific. The Kuroshio Current of Japan flows north towards North America (not south) and therefore does not impact our product.

withinUs™ TruMarine® Collagen is Ultra-Pure and free of any other ingredients, preservatives or stabilizers. Our premium-select grade marine collagen is also produced with no heat, acids or harsh chemicals and is regulated and routinely tested for impurities and heavy metals.

2. Can I take withinUs™ TruMarine® Collagen while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Since we are not aware of each customer's overall health and pregnancy, we advise if they have concerns to consult their health care provider. What we can tell you is that our product is the highest grade of marine collagen available (not all marine collagen is created equal) and is 100% Ultra-Pure, Health Canada approved, and stringently tested for impurities and metals, including lead and mercury. We use absolutely no preservatives or additives.

We have many customers that have chosen to continue with our product throughout their pregnancy and breastfeeding. We recommend reading two informative blogs on our website written by Registered Dietitian, Kim McDevitt.  Kim explains her decision to continue taking TruMarine during her pregnancy  and how it helped her postpartum.

3. How much collagen is in each serving of Matcha Misto + Collagen?

Each serving (1 scoop) of withinUs™ Matcha Misto + Collagen contains 2.5 grams ofwithinUs™ TruMarine® Collagen. Some of our customers like their drink extra creamy and add 2 scoops of Matcha Misto to their mug, this provides them with the full daily recommended serving of collagen.

*Note:  Third party testing and clinical trials show that wild-caught, fish SCALE marine collagen has superior bioavailability (absorption) than any other sources of collagen.  Other brands will recommend 10-20g daily (lower quality source), and our recommended serving size is 5g.

4. Is there any sugar or sweetener added to Coconut Creamer + Collagen?

We do NOT add sweetener or sugar to our newest product - Coconut Creamer + Collagen (we also do not add sugar or sweetener to our Matcha Misto) This product contains simply 2 premium ingredients:  certified organic (and ethically-sourced) coconut milk and withinUs™ TruMarine® Collagen

At withinUs, our goal is to provide premium products for our customers. We carefully source the highest grade of raw material and choose not to include any additives or unnecessary ingredients to our products to preserve the quality and purity.

5. What can I add Coconut Creamer + Collagen to?

Our new product Coconut Creamer + Collagen is a perfect addition to hot beverages such as coffee or tea and it is also a great smoothie boost.
