The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to lead and evolve the withinUs® brand across product, marketing, and storytelling.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, with accountability for how the brand is defined, expressed, and experienced across every channel. You will shape brand positioning, guide storytelling, and drive consistent brand expression with clarity and emotional resonance across e-commerce, retail, packaging, campaigns, PR, and partnerships.

Working closely with our Senior E-Commerce Marketing Manager, creative, product, and senior leadership team, you’ll translate brand strategy into clear priorities, strong execution, and scalable processes as the business grows.

This is a role for someone with strong brand instincts, excellent taste, and a sharp strategic mind, someone who can build long-term brand equity while still delivering results in-market.


The Impact You’ll Have

The Senior Brand Manager plays a critical role in shaping how withinUs® is understood, experienced, and trusted by customers across every touchpoint.

By defining and strengthening brand positioning and storytelling, you will ensure the brand remains clear, differentiated, and consistent as we scale across channels and expand our product portfolio. You will influence how products come to market, how campaigns connect, and how withinUs® shows up across platforms, strengthening customer loyalty, commercial performance, and long-term brand equity.


Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Stewardship

  • Lead and evolve withinUs® brand positioning, architecture, and messaging framework across all channels
  • Act as the internal brand steward, ensuring consistency while guiding thoughtful evolution
  • Build and refine brand processes and workflows to support alignment, efficiency, and scalability
  • Maintain a clear point of view on brand decisions and advocate for quality across every deliverable


Campaign & Storytelling Leadership

  • Lead brand campaigns from concept through launch in partnership with creative, social, digital marketing, product, and e-commerce teams
  • Develop strong strategic briefs rooted in customer insight, brand objectives, and commercial priorities
  • Guide storytelling and creative direction to ensure work feels premium, credible, and emotionally resonant
  • Support PR, partnerships, and collaborations by ensuring brand alignment and strong narrative consistency


Product & Go-to-Market

  • Partner with product and innovation teams on product storytelling, naming, claims strategy, and go-to-market narratives
  • Ensure clear and compelling communication of product benefits in a way that is accurate, trustworthy, and aligned with brand standards
  • Support retail and e-commerce initiatives by ensuring strong brand expression across shelf and site


Performance & Insights

  • Use customer insights, performance data, and market context to inform brand decision
  • Track and report on brand health metrics and campaign performance
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen brand equity and customer connection across channels


Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and develop the brand and creative team, providing clear direction, feedback, and priorities
  • Oversee external partners and agencies as needed, ensuring high-quality output and effective collaboration
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and help remove roadblocks to keep priorities moving forward


What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8 years of experience in brand and marketing, ideally within wellness, beauty, food, or lifestyle CPG
  • Proven experience leading brand strategy and integrated campaigns across DTC and retail
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate brand direction into clear execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp brand voice and storytelling ability
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Data-informed mindset with strong judgment and a long-term perspective
  • Experience partnering closely with product, creative, and commercial teams
  • Experience leading small teams and/or managing external partners
  • Strong taste, high standards, and a values-led approach to brand building
  • Passion for wellness, longevity, and building brands with integrity


What We Offer

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $95,000–$125,000 CAD
  • Annual performance-based bonus tied to company and individual performance
  • Potential eligibility for stock options (based on scope and tenure)
  • Final offer will reflect experience, qualifications, and alignment with the scope of the role
