Does withinUs Matcha Misto need to be prepared with a whisk?

A whisk is traditional for matcha preparation, but not necessary for Matcha Misto.

A handheld frother gives you the best result, smooth, frothy, and well blended. Add one to two tablespoons to warm water and milk of choice and mix thoroughly.

Does withinUs Matcha Misto™ contain a full serving of TruMarine® Collagen? Can I mix the two?

Each serving of withinUs Matcha Misto™ contains approximately half the daily recommended serving (2.5 grams) of withinUs TruMarine® Collagen.

Clinical studies and research have proven that unlike any other source of collagen (including fish skin), wild-caught fish scale collagen (withinUs® TruMarine® Collagen) has superior absorption levels and 5 grams is the daily requirement.

Other collagen products often recommend 10-20g of their collagen, this is due to lower quality and bioavailability of the material.

Consuming more than 5 grams of TruMarine® Collagen per day is not harmful.

Is Matcha Misto safe to consume while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Matcha Misto is made with three simple, naturally sourced ingredients: matcha, TruMarine Collagen, and organic coconut milk. That said, every pregnancy and postpartum journey is different. We always recommend consulting your healthcare practitioner or midwife before adding any supplement to your routine during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Is it normal for the Matcha Misto having some clumps in the jar?

Completely normal. Matcha Misto contains no stabilizers, flow agents, or preservatives, so the natural coconut oils can harden in cooler temperatures. Simply break up any clumps with the back of a dry spoon. Once added to a hot beverage, it dissolves completely.

Is Matcha Misto sweetened/flavoured?

No. Matcha Misto contains no added sweeteners, preservatives, or colouring. The subtle natural sweetness comes entirely from the organic coconut milk. Nothing artificial, nothing added.

Does Matcha Misto contain caffeine?

Yes, but significantly less than coffee. A serving of Matcha Misto contains approximately one-third the caffeine of a cup of coffee. The difference is how it feels. L-theanine, a naturally occurring amino acid in matcha, slows the release of caffeine and promotes a calm, focused state.

Where is your organic matcha sourced from?

withinUs Matcha Misto uses matcha sourced exclusively from Uji, Kyoto, the historic birthplace of Japanese matcha and the region that has set the standard for quality for over 800 years. First harvest, shade-grown, and stone-ground.

Three ingredients: organic matcha, TruMarine® Collagen, and organic coconut milk.

Premium, authentic Japanese matcha is made exclusively from shade-grown tencha leaves that are destemmed, deveined, and stone-ground into a fine powder. Ground green tea leaves are not matcha.

The plant, the process, and the nutritional profile are entirely different. If a product doesn't specify tencha and stone-ground, it is green tea powder, regardless of what it says on the label.
